    Would you be available for a bit of customization?

  3. wenbenxiansheng says:

    Thank you for the nice theme. :)

  4. Mik says:

    I like this, I may have to check it out and see what I think, a few tweaks and a nice header image.
    Thanks for the theme.

  5. CB says:

    Is there an easy way to change the sidebar content? I can’t seem to find it in theme options.

  6. Mik says:

    How do I get an archives page to work, I have one already but with this theme nothing shows up on the page.

  7. CB says:

    Thanks- I swear I tried that and coulnd’t get it to work correctly. Only thing I could think of is that I was using Chrome when I was trying to make the change. Either way it is working correctly now.

  8. Andy says:

    Love this theme – it’s sharp and I like the included options. I changed the nav bar to call categories instead of pages (be a cool extra feature), but lost the “current page” highlight. Looking forward to what you guys are going to do!

  9. Spinolio says:

    Great job, I tried it out and really like it. Thank you!

  10. Kyle says:

    Love it, but Flickr Photo Album not working. Please help me configure this so I can continue using the Flickr Photo Album Plugin. The gallery page is throwing the right sidebar to the bottom of the page.

    Very good theme. really nice. simple and minimal.

  12. LM Huby says:

    Hi guys – I love this theme, but can’t seem to get it to display properly. The header, subhead & navigation are all mashed together. If you visit my website, you’ll see what I mean. Any ideas how to fix? I’m no programmer, but can find my way around html & css enough to modify some stuff.

    • admin says:

      I think you have 2 options. Shorten your web site name/title or change the font size of header title by editing the style.css

  13. Ted Curran says:

    Hey this looks great! It reminds me of the themes they are making at webdesignlessons.com. Keep up the good work.

  14. Kiran says:

    Well done… I am playing with it..

  15. Dan says:

    Hello,

    love the theme. is there anyway I can make the top horizontal navigation bars drop down when they’re hovered over? I have a bunch of pages underneath. Also, I’m not able to put more than four or five pages across the top.

    thanks,
    Dan

  16. Garryson says:

    What I need to do to show big posts in ARCHIVES completely?

    p/s great theme

  17. Kyle says:

    Hey guys, I need to widen the theme for the Flickr Photo Album plugin. Is this possible?

  18. ali says:

    very good theme, thanks

  19. Nic says:

    Hi

    I’m only seeing the first two of my 7 navigation links is there a reason for this and if so how do I correct it?

    If it’s because I can only have 5 can I extend the page to have more?

    Thanks

    Nic

    • admin says:

      The number of shown menu items are limited to 6. But you can extend them by editing header.php wp_list_pages('depth=1&number=6&sort_column=menu_order&title_li=' );

  20. Mik says:

    How easy is it to add a header image at top of theme?

    • admin says:

      You need to edit header.php and some knowledge in html/css. Actually, I’m planning to make it easy to add header image/logo from options page with coming new version. Stay tuned…

      • Mik says:

        Great, looking forward to it, then I can switch to this theme.

      • MS Fan says:

        Wrestling with a custom header image as we speak (w/ limited knowledge of css). Questions:

        -How do I get rid of the block of black to the left of the image?
        -What size should the image be?
        and
        -Is there a way to push the sidebar down some so it covers less of the header?

        Thanks.

    • Ben says:

      Go edit header.php and replace the code between and . In here put a an image with a link back to your main page.

  21. Fabio says:

    Nice theme, but it doesn’t support localization :-(

  22. Michael says:

    Great theme! Does anyone know where specifically to adjust the width and wrap of the main content area? I’m trying to add an extra 100 pixels or so to the width, but i’ve been having a hard time figuring where to look when editing this theme.

  23. Dean says:

    Great theme, very uncomplicated design, unlike most blog themes you find. Many Thanks

  24. Carmello says:

    Can you throw up some instructions on a personal header. I’ve played a round a bit and got it close but just can’t get the image placed perfectly. Great theme, all you need is a nice set of theme customization and this thing would get bought up. Thanks

  25. Daniel says:

    Thank you! Very nice!

  26. andy says:

    hi,

    I like your theme and use it for my blog now,
    but i have one request, since i want to upload photos more,
    i want to make it wider, not fixed width.

    i hope it could be 990 px wide, can you tell me which part I have to
    adjust ?

    Please let me know and help me with this.

    thanks

    p.s if possible send me the answer to my email, dyahn73@hotmail.com

  27. Foamy says:

    Any way to get the footer to stick to the bottom?

    Will report back if I have any success.

  28. ipunk says:

    can i make the width of main post larger? please help

  29. Peter says:

    Great theme and one of the best I’ve used to date.

    It’s easy to use, looks great and it’s functional. One minor suggestion is to update the alignleft and alignright css to pad images so that the text doesn’t run right into the image.

    Again, great theme and looking forward to seeing more from you guys.

    Peter.

  30. This is a GREAT theme!

    Can you give me a quick hint how to make the sidebar some 30px wider?

    Seems I’m too stupid to read you CSS ;)

    Thank you!

  31. Susan says:

    I love how simple this theme is, customization was quite simple too, and my favourite part is that it is easy to read, I find far too many WP themes have very tiny tiny fonts, thanks and keep up the good work!

  32. Hello Henry says:

    Thanks for the theme! I’ve been using it on my blog for the past month. The readers dig it! Love the social networking icons.

  33. Hi. I do not seem to be able to edit the font size of the page title. It is a little but to long whenever I include the .com.

    Where is the exact position in the CSS?

    Thanks for the help.

    Fabian

  34. Steven says:

    Love this theme! You’ve got some fans all waiting for the next release!

    I did run in to a problem with functions.php (header return errors)
    Funny thing was I never touched the file.

    I must have downloaded it from another site. After following the link to here from the Cpanel. I downloaded it again and replaced the functions.php and no more errors!!!

    Again… love this theme!

    and

    Thanks!

  35. 阿吴 says:

    Thank you for the very nice wordpress theme!

  36. Jessica says:

    I’m having one huge issue with this theme .. for some reason i am unable to actually click the links like “comments” or the links to view the post before or after in single.php .. this is very odd and annoying!

  37. Ferd says:

    Is there an easy way to turn off comments and remove all reference to them?

  38. Testing says:

    Great theme!! Thats what I was looking for! Thx a lot…

    @Andy:
    How do you keep the highlight of your cat-based nav?

    I tried it with:

    #nav li a:hover, #nav li a:active, .current_cat {
    background: url(images/nav-background.png) repeat-x;
    -moz-border-radius: 12px;
    -webkit-border-radius: 12px;
    color: #fff;
    text-shadow: 0 1px 0 #000;
    }

    #nav li.current_page_cat {
    color:#fff;
    text-shadow: 0 1px 0 #000;
    }

    But it doesn´t work :(

  39. Merrill says:

    Hi there
    I just wanted to tahnk the theme creator for making it available for free. I use the theme on http://conversionr.com and I’m very happy with it.

  40. pÏnÖ says:

    I use this theme for our website L’Arbre Marius. Thank for all !

  41. Dev Duff says:

    Beautiful wordpress theme. Two thumbs up for you mate. Ever thought of making a Red color version or Blue color version of this theme?
    I will try to modify it to give it the Red color. If I’m successful, I will send it through email. I’m not that good with designing, but will give it a try and see if I can do some good.
    Would appreciate a lot of if you can officially include Red, Blue and Green versions of this theme. But that is a lot to ask for, I know, lots of work involved.
    Once again, thank you for sharing this gorgeous theme with the blogging community. Wish you great time through holidays, New Year 2010 and beyond.
    Regards,
    Dev.

  42. SeerKan says:

    Hi,

    It seems to be a bug with the comments on wordpress 2.9 with this theme.

    If i’m not logged in and try to post a comment it takes me to a blank page. If i’m logged in it works.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks.

  43. SeerKan says:

    Update: It seems to be a problem with Chrome + wp 2.9

  44. Chattaranga says:

    Great theme. I want to be able to add some text and links to the page after the user clicks the “read more” button.

    Ok I figured it out half way through writing the question. I just copied the tag into the singlepost.php file. Now the excerpt does what I want

  45. Campbell says:

    I love this theme so easy to work with but I am not a veteran blogger yet. I would like to change the Font on my Header and maybe the color on the header and the footer can you advise how to do this please?

  46. Ben says:

    Great theme. I sorted through hundreds and this one was everything I needed.

    When can we expect an update on the header image?
    Thanks!

    • Campbell says:

      Hi Ben do you know how to edit the fonts in the header and change the colours from black? I am new at blogging so I have never touched codecs and scripts?

  47. Bastian says:

    Hey, thanks for this great theme. Is it possible that the preview of posts doesn’t work?

  48. Yannick says:

    Hi,

    Would it be possible to add support for Page templated in the admin backend? The drop down seems to vanish, making it impossible to select a different page template.

    How can this easily be resolved?

  49. Chattaranga says:

    I want to add an image in the upper left hand corner, how do I do this?
    I tried inserting

    in topbanner.php but it didn’t really work.

    It DID work when i used absoolute positioning but when you minimize the browser window the image crowds everything.

    How do I just add a 320 x 240 picture into the very upper left hand corner?

    BTW, best theme I came across in HOURS of searching, thanks a ton.

  50. Robert says:

    This theme is awesome. Customization was easy. One CSS change and one image to edit and I have a stellar looking blue version! Thanks!

    • Chattaranga says:

      could you give details on how you did that Robert? I’m pretty much a noob but would love a blue version.

      • Robert says:

        The black mast head and grey bar at the top is this file in your themes folder…

        /ModernStyle/images/background.png

        Simply use Adobe, Paint, or some other program to change the black into something else and save it. I did a gradient blue instead of a solid blue on mine (click my name to see it).
