Any luck on addressing this yet?  I'm also in the same position using Global Mag Theme

They adviced me to use jQuery Migrate Helper but this is a temporary solution. Anybody is waiting for help from the developer

Last time there was an issue, I went through support but I'd say if they had a solution for it beyond that, we'd have a response. Hopefully give them the benefit of the doubt and that they are working on a permanent fix.   *fingers crossed*

I am having the same issue with theme Rollout (Submenu's don't work), a temp fix for me is I rolled WP Core back to 5.4.2.  However, I want a permanent fix so we can go back to the latest WP Core Version.

I implemented the jQuery Migrate Helper  and that has been a temporary fix but it's still going to be an issue long term.

Where can I download this jquery?  And instructions on what to do with it lol

Literally just search for "Jquery Migrate Helper" plugin and install from the dashboard.
